Endoscopic brow lift and forehead lift surgery

What is brow lifting?

Classic methods

•    To surgically "disrupt" (cut and resect) the corrugator muscle creates the same effect that can be compared with botox. But unlike the botox injection, the effect is maintained for life.
•    Transpalpebral eyebrow lifting. An incision is made in the upper eyelid layer with plastic surgery. Excess fat and other tissues are removed from there. The skin is smoothed, and the eyebrows remain.

Forehead lift surgery

The surgeon makes a special mark indicating the location of the small incisions in the pre-correction site. Using this technique, few small incisions (no longer than 3 mm) are made across the top of the forehead and on the temples, behind the hairline in most cases.

These small incisions are used to pass an endoscope into the space between the skull and the forehead/scalp. An endoscope is inserted through one of the created "passages", with the help of which the surgeon observes the progress of the operation on a large screen, which makes the procedure accurate and less traumatic compared to other alternative forehead lifting methods.

Through other mini-incisions, tissue removal, displacement and fixing (fixation) are performed in the forehead and above the eye areas. At the final stage of the operation, the incisions are sutured and a special bandage is put on the patient's head.

Endodeep face lift surgery

•    Unsightly form;
•    Wrinkles around the eyes.

The main advantage of endoscopic stretching is its invasiveness. The incision size does not exceed 1-1.5 cm, moreover, they are not visible due to the hairy location of the head. An endoscope is used by the surgeon, which prevents too much tissue damage.

The maximum accuracy of the operations performed by the plastic surgeon is provided by a camera installed in the endoscope and displaying the image on the monitor.

This method is not suitable for people who have little collagen and elastin in their bodies. Endoscopic lifting is also not performed on patients with excessively prominent or high foreheads.

Rehabilitation

Swelling, bruising, and mild pain may occur after brow lift surgery. They do not require special treatment and pass by themselves after a few days. It is important to follow all the recommendations given by the doctor during the recovery period.

In addition, it is impossible to go to the sauna or bath, as well as perform cosmetic procedures in the lifting area. It is necessary to reduce physical tension as much as possible, to give up intense facial movements.
